The
ART
THERAPY INSTITUTE
(ATI) was established in Dallas, Texas, in 1996 to provide art therapy education to mental health professionals. The mission of the ART THERAPY INSTITUTE was to:

provide continuing education services in art therapy that creatively addressed challenging problems in living,
|
|
|
educate mental health professionals to integrate art making with psychological theories, approaches, and applications, and
|
|
|
inform the public about the profession of art therapy. The ATI closed in 2008. Anyone desiring information about art therapy education should contact the American Art Therapy Association at www.arttherapy.org.
